The soul is trapped in the body until death liberates it.

Three Strikes You're Out

Put aside your political differences this book is not about that. Both sides lost. The year is 2008 and the United States as well as most of the countries have undergone a radical change.
The new government in the United States has declared a Three Strikes You're Out Program.
With the new government there is no more need for programs like food stamps, welfare, Medicare or the penal system. Over population is no longer a problem.
Long gone are the liberal and conservative parties of old, a new breed rules the country today. When the American people start to question and emotions surface, the country wakes up and looks about in horror at what they've done.

Horsey Tree and Other Scary Tales

Due to serious lung disease, I had to quit smoking in 1998.
These 16 stories are what poured out the first couple of years
I fought nicotine cravings and used writing as a therapeutic tool.
My stories contain true life situations distorted enough to make
them fun to read. Life is scary and sometimes impossible to face
without a little fantasy thrown in to lighten the harsh reality.
The
Bamboo Thickett
in its original form is a story I wrote and
later rewrote with Eric S. Brown and we published as
Katie
.
Slow Suicide
is my first published story in the horror genre.
When I wrote
Slow Suicide
, I had almost two years nicotine free and
just lost my dad to lung disease he developed from his years
of tobacco use. I wrote it on my laptop while I kept vigil at the
hospital while my mom recuperated from surgery for
pancreatic cancer.
Slow Suicide
is the only story related to nicotine, there are other horrors in the world.
I touch on several subjects that've come across my tracks through my life. Once I face the boogie men in my life they're easier to live with and for me the easy way is head  on.
The picture of
Horsey Tree
on the cover I took with a
disposable camera to accompany the story. The tree sits

in my front yard.
